Simulation for Dysgraphia in the Classroom:
Materials:
Paper
A mirror
A picture or piece of art (difficulty depending on age/grade level)
Students will be placed into pairs. One student will hold a mirror at a 90 degree angle. The other students will be asked to trace the picture onto the piece of paper without looking at the drawing, but looking into the mirror. This simulation will help students understand how students with dysgraphia have difficulty writing words and drawing pictures.
